We analyze the patent landscape as regards new ideas and technologies, arrange for testing them, check the feasibility of ideas and take advantage of our R&D center laboratories to develop product solutions.
Pilot production
Successful laboratory testing paves the way for setting up technology approbation: testing and production of pilot lots at the pilot manufacturing facilities of the R&D Center and at the industrial sites of Uralchem.

Our team is a crucial asset of Uralchem Innovation. The success of all our R&D projects is achieved due to faithful contribution of each member of the team, their competencies, knowledge and experience. We employ over 20 skilled professionals, one in three of which holds a PhD degree with ample employment history in scientific institutes and corporate R&D centers concerned with biotechnology, chemical fields and agriculture.

Extensive experience in venture investments and corporate innovations (EFKO Group, Rusal, Uralchem, VEB.RF, VTB Capital).
Anna was in charge of R&D processes to the benefit of venture companies and commercialization of innovative products; she was a member of the Boards of Directors of portfolio companies, was engaged in technology scouting in Russia and abroad; participated in the project to launch the first production of plant-based meat in Russia. Moreover, Anna was engaged in large scale IT projects by Envision Group Company. She pays great attention to student startups, is a lecturer and mentor of the Skolkovo startup schools and Investoro investors. She is a member of the Board of the Union of Producers of Plant-based Products, and, together with industry colleagues promotes and develops this new market.
She is the winner of the award "Woman of the Year in the Agricultural Sector 2022”, the nominations being "Leader in innovation" and "Launch of the Year".
Natalia Sidorenko
Ph.D in chemistry.
Graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology (Russian Technological University).
Since 2008, she has worked her way up from a junior researcher at the plastics synthesis laboratory to the head of the laboratory at the corporate research center of PJSC SIBUR-Holding (OOO NIOST, Tomsk). From 2014 to 2017 was head of new advanced polymers research laboratory.
Alexei Vasiliev
Starting from 2004 was employed by large Russian and international engineering companies dedicated to water treatment, water conditioning and purification, wastewater treatment (Biotechprogress, Jurby WaterTech International, Ecolab). Is experienced in opening and developing service departments from scratch, implementing large EPC contracts for the Russian Federation energy sector.
In 2019, Alexey was engaged in the commercialization of the Biomicrogels startup. As the result of this project the startup was nominated for the G20 Forum award as the most environmentally friendly water treatment solution.
Olga Belokoneva
Ph.D in chemistry.
She is the author of over 15 papers in indexed scientific journals and over 50 published papers in popular scientific journals. H-Index by Scopus – 5. Professional background: Institute of Biochemical Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, EFKO Innovations, Russian Venture Company.
Extensive experience in arranging the work of research centers, cooperating with startups, including industry expert evaluations.
Stanislav Belov
Took part in successful development of process and technical solutions addressing innovative food products, scaling up from the laboratory stage to the pilot production.
Participated in technology development for the production of soy isolate and fatty acid monoglycerides.
